They were also fortunate enough to witness part of a <em>wedding ceremony<\/em>, which gave them a unique insight into how important celebrations and traditions are within the Sikh community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To end the visit, the children were invited to enjoy a delicious lunch in the <strong>langar<\/strong> (community kitchen), freshly prepared and served by volunteers. This experience helped pupils understand the Sikh principles of equality, community, and kindness in a meaningful and memorable way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A big <strong>thank you<\/strong> to the parent helpers who supported us on this trip.
