How to apply
We take 20 children in Reception and a further 6 in Year 3. Most of our pupils come from out of catchment.
Our next open day is Thursday 25th June 9:30-11:00.
Follow these steps to apply for Reception or Year 3 places.
Visit school open days in summer and autumn 2026.
You can start to apply online from Wednesday 4th November 2026. Citizen Portal - Sign in
List 6 schools in the order that you want them. Put your favourite first or you will not get it.
Deadline is 15th January 2027. You will hear by Thursday 15th April,

Applying from out of catchment
You are perfectly entitled to apply for a place at Curzon from out of catchment – if, for instance, you live in Amersham, Beaconsfield or HIghWycombe.
The falling birth rate in the South Buckinghamshire area means that many popular schools that have traditionally been full now have spare places. Curzon has been affected by this.
We cannot guarantee that your child will get a place at Curzon if you put us down as one of your top options.
To support the families of children from out of catchment, the school operates before-school and after-school care (sometimes referred to as wrap around care.

Admissions ODBST policy 2026-27 CONSULTATION outcome: Having consulted on reducing our Year 3 admissions PAN for 2026-27 to 3 places, we have listened to the views of our stakeholders and local community and have decided to offer 5 places. Unfortunately, at this moment, we are unable to offer the usual 6 places due to the capacity of our classrooms.
We will agree to exceed the admission number up to a maximum of 6 (i.e. the original PAN) in order to accommodate all catchment children/siblings (whether or not they expressed a preference for the school. Should an application require it, we will accede to a request under the Fair Access process for any Buckinghamshire child needing a school place that cannot be placed at an alternative school within a reasonable distance from home.
This only applies to 2026-27 admissions and the PAN will return to 6 for 2027-28 and thereafter.
We will take into consideration any significant response from consultees to challenge this planned change.
