Visit by MP Sarah Green
We were delighted to welcome Sarah Green, MP for Chesham and Amersham, and Thomas Pirouet, a councillor, to Curzon this week. They enjoyed a tour of the school, meeting pupils and staff, and seeing learning in action across our classrooms.
A particular highlight of the visit was the opportunity for our KS2 School Councillors to meet with our guests and ask a range of thoughtful, probing questions. Drawing on our school values of courage, kindness and respect, pupils asked, “What are yours?” and “What is the hardest part about your job?” We were incredibly proud of the confidence, curiosity and insight displayed by our children. They listened carefully to the responses and engaged in a respectful and meaningful discussion about leadership, responsibility and service to the community.
