Cookery Day
Lower KS2 had a lovely practical day making vegetable soup for lunch for the staff and creating mince pies. Our budding chefs learnt new chopping and pastry skills. They worked hard, were very engaged and were willing to have a go at everything, including trying lots of new vegetables.
Victorian Day
As part of their history topic, our eldest pupils had their Victorian Day. In the morning the children wrote in dip pens, had their appearance harshly inspected and enjoyed learning the 3 R’s (Reading, wRiting and aRithmetic).
