Year 4 and 5 visited Woodrow activity centre. Both year groups participated in a range of fun, team building activities, including Jacob’s Ladder, fire making and archery. Year 5 also experienced staying away from home for a night which they thoroughly enjoyed.

On Thursday, our upper KS2 pupils took part in a wonderful cookery day. In the morning the children made two Moroccan inspired stews. Lower KS2 had a lovely practical day making vegetable soup for lunch for the staff and creating mince pies. Our budding chefs learnt new chopping and pastry skills. They worked hard, were very engaged and were willing to have a go at everything, including trying lots of new vegetables.
