The Great Exhibition
On Thursday the children displayed their homework “exhibits” at the Class 6 Great Exhibition. All of the children did a superb job and there was a fantastic range of projects. Once they had gained entry with their ticket they saw detailed research booklets, replica clothes, houses, toys, a prison and even a theatre that displayed and illusion of a ghost! Well done Year 6 for making a truly memorable morning!
The children thoroughly enjoyed their Victorian themed day. In the morning they practised calligraphy using dip pens in ink, completed grammar exercises from 1884, wrote on chalk boards and played traditional playground games. At lunchtime they enjoyed their traditional Victorian lunches and drinks and during the afternoon they were put through their paces during drill time and needle craft.
